The New Testament church is called to be the 'salt of the Earth'. We consider the meaning of this teaching, and how it points to the offerings made in the Old Testament that were seasoned with salt.
Mark.9.49-50For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt. Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.
