Christ declares that he is 'the door' - the point of entry into the Kingdom of God. A door speaks of security and safety but if we are to be truly saved, there is a certain way we must enter in.

John.10.9I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
