Judah endured years of devastation through plagues of locusts, but the LORD promised restoration if they turned fully to him. This same promise to restore wasted years is offered to all those who repent and have faith in Christ.

Joel.2.25And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
