The New Decree of the King      Esther 8

King Ahasuerus cannot cancel the decree that has gone throughout the Persian Empire to destroy the Jews, so a new decree must be issued - one that calls the Jews to defend themselves and fight. We apply these events to the modern Christian life in which God calls us to fight against many foes.
