The Day of the Lord, the return of Christ, is a day that will surely come. But until that day, the Lord is longsuffering toward us, because he is not willing that any should perish. How sad it is that so many are not willing to know his salvation.
2Pet.3.9The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
